HP makes US$1.6 bln bid for 3PAR; launches bidding war with rival Dell
PALO ALTO: Hewlett-Packard Co (HP) has launched a US$1.6 billion (US$1=approximately RM3.13) bid for data-storage company 3PAR Inc (3PAR), a report from Dow Jones said, adding that the offer was one-third higher than what rival Dell Inc (Dell) agreed last week to pay for the company.
