I need to seriously organize my notebooks. I didn’t organize my notebooks in the beginning of the school year so right now all the notes for all my classes are dumped into a 1 subject notebook with no separation between each class. Like, I’ll have chemistry on one page, and then on the back of that page I’ll have math etc… I can never find my papers because I just stuck them into my notebook. Should I just spend the time to rewrite all my notes and put them in different notebooks?
what i do is put ALL papers in one pile. then sit on my floor in a big open space. then start making dif piles: a ‘math’ pile, ‘chem’ pile, ‘english’ pile, etc.. THEN put all the chem papers in a binder/folder and label ‘chem’. do the same for the others. youll be organized in no time

I recommend different note books for each class. You could probably get away with a really big notebook with dividers, but those big ones are annoying to lug around. You might have to rewire some of your notes if they’re on the back pages of other notes, but hopefully you won’t have to rewire them all (although that will help you learn the material). I also suggest you only write on one page of the paper anyway, even if it is the same subject. This will help you lay everything out if you need to and you won’t have to flip back and forth on one page all the time. Yes, you’ll be using twice as much paper, and if you’re into ‘going green’ you may not want to do that, but it helped me.

Get a 5 inch binder for each class, and then get dividers & separate everything into sections [notes, homework, tests & quizzes etc]
also write the date on all your papers so you will know what order to put them in :]
hope i helped
