The host computer and one of the computers "see" each other just fine via ethernet cables. I can exchange data through the "shared docs" folders from both. I just connected a third computer via an ethernet cable, and it’s connecting to the internet just fine from the host, but I can’t "see" the shared docs folders on the other two computers from the third computer, or see the third computer from the others. What am I forgetting to do? Thanks!
Make sure the "workgroup" name is the same on all machines and enable network discovery and file sharing on all the machines and it’s better to have them all use the same router… You can also share printers, scanners, etc…
GOOD LUCK !!!

For the original two pcs to see shared documents of the third pc, the folders you wish the first two to see must be set up for sharing. Open Windows Explorer (right click on START, click on EXPLORE). Select the folders you wish to share (one folder at a time), right click, select properties, and then click on sharing and security and follow prompts.
Once this is enabled you should be ready for the original pcs to see the third pc. The share enablement will most often permit seeing from the third pc, the shares of the first two.
